DJ: Tomoyuki Tanaka (FPM)
A DJ and producer from Kyoto. He debuted in 1995 and has released eight original albums and numerous remixes to date. He is active in a wide range of fields, including performing at festivals in Japan and abroad, providing music for films and advertisements, serving as music supervisor for commercial facilities and restaurants, and operating the music lounge “FUL.” He also served as music director for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

DJ: Kan Takagi (MAJOR FORCE)
Born in 1961 in Zushi City. He debuted in 1979 as the vocalist for FLESH on Godzilla Records, Japan’s first punk rock label. In 1981, he joined Tokyo Bravo. He was active in the nightclub scene at venues such as Pithecanthropus in Harajuku and Tsubaki House in Shinjuku. He began DJing at Tsubaki House in 1984. In 1986, he formed “Tiny Punks” with Hiroshi Fujiwara. In 1988, he co-founded “MAJOR FORCE”—Japan’s first club music label and production company—with Hiroshi Fujiwara, Gota Yashiki, Masayuki Kudo, and Toshio Nakanishi. Later, during the 1990s, he was active as a solo artist, releasing five solo albums while also participating in production and projects with various other artists. In 2018, he relaunched MAJOR FORCE to mark its 30th anniversary. His late-night radio show “TOKYO MAADSPIN,” which began in 2020, gained significant attention, leading to the release in March 2022 of his first book, *Tokyo IN THE FLESH* (East Press), which compiles interviews from the show along with his own reflections.

DJ: Hiroshi Nakamura (i-dep/knowone)
A music producer, arranger, songwriter, and DJ from Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. He has performed both domestically and internationally as i-dep, appearing at numerous festivals and at Billboard Live. In addition to producing and arranging tracks for a diverse range of artists, including sotte bosse, he is also active as knowone. He served as assistant music director for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the Paralympic Opening Ceremony.

Plant Hunter: Atsushi Takeoka (Shochiku-en) @botaniquelife He began importing and selling plant seedlings and seeds in 1995, introducing houseplants from Sri Lanka to Japan in particular. He also provides direction and handles sales for interior design shops and select shops nationwide. Currently, as an “overseas plant buyer” based in Southeast Asia and Thailand, he sources rare plants locally and handles a wide range of activities, including sales and curation for plant enthusiasts and retailers in Japan, as well as the export of plants from Japan to overseas markets.
