Starting late tonight, the TV anime “SANDA,” featuring a soundtrack by Tomoyuki Tanaka, begins airing.Created by Tomohiro Itagaki, the artist behind “BEASTARS”—which swept numerous awards including the “Manga Taisho 2018” Grand Prize and four major manga awards—this unique Santa Claus hero action anime is set in a near-future Japan facing an extreme low birthrate, where children are overly protected.
